Highland College was established in Amhara Region Bahir Dar town, Ethiopia, in August of 2003 by a team of professionals who have many years of teaching experience at university and business consultancy service. Some of the share members are PhD holders and others are at master level in different disciplines. As Dean of the College, I am extremely proud of the rich tradition of providing practical, experiential-based education that our college has upheld since its founding. Our undergraduate and TVET programs are developing the next generation of servant leaders – leaders who have the moral depth and intellectual intensity necessary to meet the challenges of a time of critical transition in society. The college has been working by giving due attention for teaching and learning, research and Community service as higher education institution. So we have held the first National Conference in April, 23, 2023 G.C. I invite all of you who are interested in expanding your knowledge and enriching your careers to explore our school further either online or through a visit to campus. I hope that you will join our community of life-long learners.
